Last year, HomeKeeper reached the important milestone of 200 participating organizations. Our 200th user, Grounded Solutions’ Innovative Finance, was symbolic of HomeKeeper’s progress in aligning with our organization’s mission to scale housing with lasting affordability. And, in our continued efforts to make your jobs easier and your programs more effective, we have expanded our team to its largest size yet.

With the solid foundation built by our community, we look forward to a robust development roadmap in 2026 that will refine HomeKeeper’s approachability as a product and make it more easily tailorable and trainable for our users. These enhancements include:

  • Online Application Template: A new “Blueprint” add-on that will allow external data collection, native to Salesforce.
  • Applicant Info: First rolled out as an internal intake tool in 2023, we plan to expand this component to calculate income and program eligibility
  • Maps and Location: Through collaboration with our research department, we are offering mapping and geocoding services and plan to add functionality to HomeKeeper.
  • Streamlined Purchase and Resale Interfaces: We’re actively soliciting feedback to refine the Purchase and Resale interfaces to modernize that important data collection.
  • Standardized Interfaces for shared equity programs and housing counseling.
  • Integrations with apps that extend HomeKeeper’s functionality around self-paced homebuyer education and financial coaching.
  • Grounded Solutions Network membership benefits and discounts, including discounts for Grounded Solutions members on HomeKeeper services, and discounts for HomeKeeper users becoming Grounded Solutions Network members for the first time.

In addition to these features, the HomeKeeper team is also rolling out services meant to support your growth and accelerate your digital transformation. These include:

  • Expanded Advanced Support: We’re moving towards a flexible scoping model, retiring our four- and eight-hour packages, and focusing on adding more data-related services for practitioners. The rates include a new discount for Grounded Solutions Network members.
  • Coalition Data Services: We are expanding our work with coalitions that seek to standardize data collection and analysis for their networks.
  • Lasting Affordability Accelerator: To further our mission alignment, we are standardizing work to help adopt and execute lasting affordability programs, working with community land trusts and other shared equity programs.
  • Multi-Service Accelerator: One of our core strengths is the ability to adapt HomeKeeper to manage multiple programs and integrate workflows, and we want to enable more organizations that are diversifying their work to do just that. With our team expansion this year, we also focused our efforts on rebuilding our User Manual and began the process of digitizing our training into a self-paced format to ensure training and knowledge are easily accessible, 24/7. Costs are increasing across the board, and it is no different for the HomeKeeper team. While the current environment is a challenging one, we need to ensure we can cover the increasing maintenance expenses of HomeKeeper, while also continuing to grow and expand.

Multi-Service Offer

Amid ongoing funding uncertainties, it is crucial for organizations to be creative in determining how they will sustain themselves. The Long Island Housing Partnership, a Grounded Solutions Network member since 2009 and a HomeKeeper user since 2012, achieved this by extending HomeKeeper into all of its services, building an integrated services foundation that allowed it to easily expand services when needed. As we announced in 2022, we are ending Early Adopter pricing for HUD Connect users and any users with bundles, effective for 2026 pricing. To help early adopters adapt to the full suite of HomeKeeper capabilities, we’re offering our new service, the Multi-Service Accelerator, free of charge if taken advantage of in 2026. This two-hour engagement will explore your organization, share multi-service models across the HomeKeeper community, and develop a configuration and action plan to implement a multi-service foundation.
