One of the first requests we got from our HomeKeeper members back in 2010 was to extend the capabilities of HomeKeeper to accommodate housing counseling programs. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Housing Counseling solution built on the Salesforce platform.

To address this need, the HomeKeeper team at Grounded Solutions Network  has embarked on an exciting new project in partnership with Housing Partnership Network (HPN) and their members. Over the past year, HPN staff, eight housing counseling members, and Grounded Solutions Network have been exploring the development of a new cloud-based client management system (CMS) for housing counseling. Over the past  few months, we have been working on a  formal technical discovery and business planning process.

In the coming months, HPN, in collaboration with their member partners and the Grounded Solutions Network, will conduct an in-depth needs analysis, develop a business plan, and create a prototype to assess the feasibility of building and operating a new CMS. If developed, the system will be built on the Salesforce.com platform and complement the powerful affordable homeownership platform, HomeKeeper.

Our project team will  be reaching  out to selected HomeKeeper users  and Grounded Solutions members for feedback in the near future.
