This past Thursday, the Do Good Data conference in Chicago featured a session on HomeKeeper.   The conference was produced by Data Analysts for Social Good   and focused on how governments, foundations and nonprofits can work to use data better and showcased creative ways organizations are using data to make a bigger impact.

Rick Jacobus of Street Level Advisors   and Brad Struss of Bigger Boat Consulting were part of the team that originally designed and implemented HomeKeeper. Rick and Brad’s presentation highlighted HomeKeeper’s history, key metrics in the HomeKeeper National Data Hub and success factors and kernels of wisdom other sectors should remember if attempting a similar project.
