HomeKeeper is a program of Grounded Solutions Network, which supports strong communities from the ground up. We connect national and local expertise; bringing together the networks, knowledge and support needed to build inclusive communities. Grounded Solutions Network promotes housing solutions that will stay affordable for generations so communities can stabilize and strengthen their foundation, for good.
Tiffany has been leading the HomeKeeper program since August 2010 and currently oversees product development, marketing and member outreach. She brings over 15 years of experience providing organizations around the country with training and technical assistance in designing and implementing successful asset building programs. In addition, she has been a licensed California REALTOR “‡ since 2007 and is a passionate advocate for first-time homebuyers. Tiffany has a masters in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from Carleton College.
Senior Support Specialist, HomeKeeper
Liz has been the Member Support Specialist for HomeKeeper since May 2013. She is responsible for onboarding new user organizations, user trainings, creating documentation and responding to user requests. She is a former HomeKeeper user with extensive experience in a broad range of non-profits, working at UVMEND’s SHARE Community Land Trust in Leavenworth, WA for a year, as well as at TransCultural Exchange, a international art nonprofit and the Center of Concern, a progressive Catholic advocacy organization in Washington, DC. Liz has been able to bring her experience working on policies and procedures at UV MEND as well as HomeKeeper to her position with Grounded Solutions Network. Liz received her Bachelors degree from Boston College.
Marketing and Support Specialist, HomeKeeper
Valerie has been the Marketing and Support Specialist for HomeKeeper since June 2016. She is responsible marketing and sales of HomeKeeper and helping non-profits and local governments become successful users. She is a former HomeKeeper user and has worked as an independent Salesforce consultant assisting housing nonprofits in their security planning and data migration to Salesforce. Valerie has an extensive background in economic and housing development, having worked previously with the Bay Area Consortium of Community Land Trusts and the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Valerie has a masters degree in Nonprofit Management from the New School and an undergraduate degree from University of California Santa Barbara.
Rick was the founder and a consultant to Cornerstone Partnership where he helped to develop HomeKeeper, an AppExchange App targeting nonprofit and government agencies that manage affordable housing programs. Rick oversees the development and production of the HomeKeeper Social Impact Reports. Rick brings over 20 years of experience in the affordable housing sector. He has a Bachelors degree from Oberlin College and a Masters of City Planning degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Thane Maxwell is a consultant for Grounded Solution Network’s HomeKeeper National Data HUB. He holds a master’s in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University and is an adjunct professor in the Social Science Department at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN.
